We are seeking a Support Workers who is skilled in supporting people with psychosocial disabilities and complex mental health, someone resilient, and who holds the ability to empower and inspire individuals to build positive habits and routines through person‑centered support. This role will work casually across two Supported Independent Living (SIL) sites.

Your role
- Support adults with complex mental health and psychosocial disabilities in an independent living model.
- Rigorously follow BIS and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site manager to best support complex behaviours.
- Encourage capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Promoting choice and control and show eagerness to participate in clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- To be efficient in computer skills and report writing!
Some of our requirements:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings, afternoons, and sleepover shifts.
