Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.

About Your Role

The Risk and Compliance Administration Officer plays an important role in supporting the Risk, Compliance & Assurance team by keeping registers, records, governance processes and coordination running smoothly. This work underpins effective risk management, compliance oversight and organisational resilience.

Reporting to the Head of Risk, Compliance and Assurance, you will support the day‑to‑day operation of risk, compliance and assurance activities across Scope.

You will play a key role in coordinating governance forums, maintaining registers and records, supporting compliance processes, and ensuring information is accurate, timely and well presented. You will work closely with the RCA team and with stakeholders across the organisation to keep actions moving and information up to date.

Your Key Focus

We are seeking someone who brings strong organisation skills, attention to detail and confidence working with systems, data and structured processes. This is not a generic admin role, it is a coordination role at the centre of risk, compliance and governance activity across the organisation.

What will make you successful

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy working with registers, systems and structured processes, and take pride in accuracy
  • Are highly organised and comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Are confident using Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and learning new systems, including Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platforms
  • Have strong attention to detail in data entry, document management and record‑keeping
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, and follow up actions to completion
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
  • Enjoy supporting a small specialist team and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes

What We Look For

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, document preparation, and record management.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and aptitude for learning new systems (e.g., GRC platforms such as Protecht, Archer).
  • Ability to follow structured processes and maintain compliance with documentation standards
  • Experience in governance, risk, compliance or other regulated environments is desirable, but not essential.
