Disability Support Worker – Kangaroo Flat [Supported Independent Living]

  • Casual role located in Kangaroo Flat
  • You must be available to work across multiple shifts, including weekdays, weekends, early mornings (especially 6:00am–10:00am), afternoons and sleepovers (4:00pm to 9:00am),
  • Provide person-centered support that empowers each client to express choice and independence in how they want to be supported in their day-to-day lives
  • Assist clients with aspects of daily living needs in their homes and at times out in the community; including personal care, meals assistance, medications, and behaviour support
  • Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with a team.

As a Disability Support Worker in one of our services you will work with a team on and off-site of specialists with one common purpose – to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

We act bravely

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years.
