About the Role:
- Location: Chelsea
- Employment Type: Fixed Term, Part Time
- Shifts: 68.75/69.0 hours per fortnight
As an Advanced Disability Support Worker (DDSO2A), you’ll play a key leadership role within the service, supporting both participants and your team to achieve positive, person‑centred outcomes.
You’ll work collaboratively with on‑site and off‑site specialists, modelling best practice and empowering others in a dynamic support environment.
Please note: To be considered for this role, you must hold an Advanced Diploma of Disability (or equivalent qualification).
About You:
You are an experienced and confident disability professional who brings leadership, compassion and resilience to your work. You will demonstrate:
- Proven leadership experience in disability services or similar frontline, community‑based environments
- Strong ability to manage behaviours of concern with a calm, confident and professional approach
- Sound knowledge and practical application of Person‑Centred Active Support
- Confidence leading teams through change in a fast‑paced and evolving environment
- A Full Victorian Driver Licence is required for this role
- An Advanced Diploma of Disability (
or equivalence) is required for this role

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:
- Advanced Diploma of Disability (or equivalence) is required
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
- Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
