About Scope

Scope’s purpose is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. We support people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities to achieve their goals. Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.

About Your Role

Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Reporting, Compliance and Assurance Officer to work within our Quality, Safeguarding and Practice (QSP) division.

The Reporting, Compliance and Assurance Officer helps ensure Scope meets regulatory obligations by strengthening governance, maintaining accurate and timely reporting, and supporting compliance and assurance activities across disability services in Victoria and New South Wales. The role also contributes to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, with specific responsibility for supporting Practice Governance and Regulatory Reporting.

Your Key Focus

  • Ensure compliance with key legislative and regulatory standards, including NDIS, Child Safe Standards, food safety certifications, disability service standards, and community housing requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate mandatory regulatory reporting, such as restrictive practice reports, audit materials, submissions, and other documentation required by government and funding bodies.
  • Carry out internal audits and assurance activities to identify risks, non‑compliance, and improvement areas, and help teams implement corrective actions.
  • Provide compliance support and training, helping staff understand reporting obligations, risk management practices, and organisational policies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, using audit and compliance data to inform quality, governance, and regulatory improvement initiatives.
