Reporting, Compliance and Assurance Officer

About Your Role
Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Reporting, Compliance and Assurance Officer to work within our Quality, Safeguarding and Practice (QSP) division.
Your Key Focus
- Ensure compliance with key legislative and regulatory standards, including NDIS, Child Safe Standards, food safety certifications, disability service standards, and community housing requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate mandatory regulatory reporting, such as restrictive practice reports, audit materials, submissions, and other documentation required by government and funding bodies.
- Carry out internal audits and assurance activities to identify risks, non‑compliance, and improvement areas, and help teams implement corrective actions.
- Provide compliance support and training, helping staff understand reporting obligations, risk management practices, and organisational policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, using audit and compliance data to inform quality, governance, and regulatory improvement initiatives.

What We Look For
- Tertiary study in a relevant field and understanding of disability‑sector regulations.
- Experience in compliance, reporting, risk, or governance, including audits.
- Strong reporting, communication, and analytical skills.
- Commitment to safety, safeguarding, and high‑quality support.
- Confident with digital tools and able to work collaboratively in a changing environment.
