Scope’s purpose is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. We support people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities and developmental delays to achieve their goals Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections (day program) and therapy across 100 locations in Victoria.

About The Role

In this role you will provide high-level coordination and advisory support to our People Partnering function. This is a dynamic role where you’ll be at the heart of people partnering operations, ensuring smooth processes and timely responses to employees and people leaders alike.  In addition, you will collaboration on improvement initiatives that enhance how we work including adoption of AI and other modern tools.

What you will do

• Keep processes running smoothly by managing inboxes, triaging queries, and creating smart templates.
• Provide leaders with initial advice on straightforward performance, misconduct, and grievance matters using established guidelines (with guidance). More complex matters are escalated to People Partners.
• Champion process and system improvements.
• Embrace innovation with systems like ServiceNow, DocuSign, and SharePoint.

About You

• Experience in generalist HR support or People Shared Services.
• Experience working in not-for-profit or disability sector and unionised environment.
• Knowledge of employment legislation (Fair Work Act, Modern Awards).
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to build trusted relationships.
• A continuous improvement mindset.
• Flexibility to travel across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
