About Scope

Scope’s purpose is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. We support people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities to achieve their goals. Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.

• Full-time Fixed-term contract until March 2026
• Demonstrated experience in behaviour and high intensity support are essential to successfully supporting the customers who live in this home
• Demonstrated confidence and resilience in working with people with complex needs
• Experience rostering a large team and managing staff competencies and compliance is essential
• Be an advocate for the people we support, families/carers and other key stakeholders through establishing rapport and understanding
• Strong communication and leadership skills to deliver guidance to a team of passionate Disability Support Workers
• Facilitate change and drive continuous improvement to support the purpose and vision that are important to the successful operation of Scope's values
• Exposure to NDIS and DSOA funding and frameworks is essential
• Previous experience in leadership/management within the disability sector is desirable

As a SIL Coordinator in one of our services you will work with a team on and off-site of specialists with one common goal – to create meaningful opportunities for people with a disability to belong and thrive.

We act bravely

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

• Valid Drivers Licence
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
• Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
