Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q) - Hawthorn East

We have a new Fixed Term Part-Time (3 months) opportunity in Hawthorn East for a Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q)

  • Employment Type: Fixed Term Part Time
  • Fixed Term Duration: 3 months (start ASAP)
  • Fortnight 1: 41.5 hours
  • Fortnight 2: 32 hours
  • Total Monthly Hours: 73.5

The role includes:

  • Supporting our customers to live independently whilst providing a caring service (and the odd joke wouldn’t hurt either!)
  • Manual handling including bending, lifting, and transferring and is very hands on, so suits active people who can perform these tasks
  • Creating a pleasant environment for our Customers and yourself to enjoy – this can include outings, the odd trip to the movies or footy and more!
  • Personal care work and support, including domestic/household tasks
  • Being calm and confident in all situations
  • Certificate IV in Disability (Download File or equivalence) is highly desirable
