Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q) - Hawthorn East
We have a new Fixed Term Part-Time (3 months) opportunity in Hawthorn East for a Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q)
- Employment Type: Fixed Term Part Time
- Fixed Term Duration: 3 months (start ASAP)
- Fortnight 1: 41.5 hours
- Fortnight 2: 32 hours
- Total Monthly Hours: 73.5
The role includes:
- Supporting our customers to live independently whilst providing a caring service (and the odd joke wouldn’t hurt either!)
- Manual handling including bending, lifting, and transferring and is very hands on, so suits active people who can perform these tasks
- Creating a pleasant environment for our Customers and yourself to enjoy – this can include outings, the odd trip to the movies or footy and more!
- Personal care work and support, including domestic/household tasks
- Being calm and confident in all situations
- Certificate IV in Disability (
or equivalence) is highly desirable
