This is a hybrid role with a combination of working from home, travelling to see clients and working with the team at an office based in either Glen Waverley or Glenroy. Full-time or 4 days a week minimum. Multiple roles may be available.
If you are a recent graduate with genuine interest in the disability sector, then we can train you and support you to become an NDIS registered Behaviour Support Practitioner. We are keen to hear from any teaching, nursing, psychology, social work or any other allied health graduates or recent social science graduates wanting to focus exclusively on Behaviour Support for a few years.
Your new role:
Work across the lifespan from 9 – 65+
Undertake evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for individuals with psycho-social, developmental, and other disabilities.
Currently experienced in positive behaviour support or willing to be trained to deliver positive behaviour support assessments, reports, interventions and training.
Hybrid and flexible work environment: Office/Clinic, home and community based.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner ID or willing to obtain with our support.
Genuine interest in working with individuals with a disability or developmental delay, and their families and carers.
Current Australian Driver’s Licence, a reliable car, and a willingness to travel within the Greater Melbourne Area in regular work hours.
Recent undergraduate [BR1] or post graduate qualifications – completed a nursing, teaching, psychology, social work or any allied health or social science degree will be considered
Ability to work effectively and independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
