Supporting the Head of Information Security, this newly created and highly technical role will lead Scope’s information security incident response, manage the security technology stack, and oversees vulnerability management. You will be responsible for the oversight of third-party SOC services, serving as the primary contact for security incidents, and leading technical incident response activities to mitigate breaches.
Your key focus:
Managing security tools used by Scope (Mimecast, Zscaler, LogRhythm, Crowdstrike, and Microsoft Azure)
Driving security projects, system optimizations, and compliance efforts while collaborating with IT teams to ensure consistent, strong security practices.
Oversee 3rd party SOC services, ensuring they are effectively managed and aligned with Scope’s security goals.
Lead and coordinate incident response activities for security breaches, data breaches, and other cyber incidents.
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in IT security with a focus on technical implementation and management.
Ability to lead and coordinate incident response activities for security breaches, data breaches, and other cyber incidents.
In-depth knowledge of IT security principles, practices, and technologies.
Expertise in managing and maintaining a wide range of IT security technologies
Qualifications desirable: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
Experience working in Community and/or NFP organisations (highly regarded)
Demonstrated knowledge of the Right Fit for Risk (RFFR) framework
Ability to think and work strategically through working collaboratively with other leaders to align the organisation’s overall strategy.
