Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.

About your role

As the Head of People Business Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy of our organisation as it goes through large-scale transformation, ensuring alignment with our purpose, vision and values. In this influential senior leadership role, you will be leading a team of strategic business partners, while providing expert guidance to senior leaders to enhance performance, engagement and culture.

This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a leader who can influence, challenge, and collaborate to embed best practices in people management. As a potential successor and 2iC to the Chief People Officer, you will have the opportunity to develop and refine your executive leadership skills while role-modelling dynamic and ethical leadership. You will champion change, innovation, and operational excellence in people practices, ensuring our workforce is equipped to meet the evolving needs of the sector now and well into the future.

What we look for

We are seeking an exceptional people leader who combines strategic thinking with a deep commitment to ethical and impactful leadership. To succeed in this role, you will:

• be a trusted advisor to your team, peers and senior leaders
• be able to influence people at all levels
• come from an environment with complex industrial agreements, preferably in a human services environment
• have experience working in a business that operates 24/7
• operate at pace, with high levels of judgement
• be willing to be involved in operational people matters as needed, with a focus on BAU to free up the CPO to focus on strategy and transformation.
