Advanced Disability Support Worker (DDSO2A)

As one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit disability service providers, we operate across Victoria and New South Wales, supporting over 5,600 people from 425+ locations.

We are seeking a vibrant and dedicated individual with an Advanced Diploma who has a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

This is a permanent full time position based in Warrnambool working a 73 hour and 79 hour split fortnight.

About the role:

  • Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support that promotes dignity and independence
  • Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures consistently
  • Support participants with daily living, personal care, health routines, and community access
  • Use calm communication and effective de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern
  • Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans
  • Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team
  • Bring patience, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach to every shift

What you'll need:

  • You will be required to possess an Advanced Diploma in Disability/Community Sector Management or equivalent to meet the criteria for this role (Download FileQualifications equivalence
  • Availability to work all below listed shifts.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).

Thursday: 6am – 9am

Saturday: 8am – 7pm

Sunday: 8am – 7pm

Monday: 6am – 9:30am split shift 3pm – 8pm

Wednesday: 6am – 11am split shift 2pm – 7pm

Thursday: 6am – 7pm

Week 3:

Monday: 6am – 9:30am split shift 3pm – 8pm

Tuesday: 6am – 9:30am split shift 2pm – 7pm
