Scope’s purpose is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. We support people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities and developmental delays to achieve their goals Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections (day program) and therapy across 100 locations in Victoria.

  • Disability Support Worker Team Leader – Coburg Social Connections Day Center
  • Permanent Part Time | Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:30pm | 2 days DSW TL and 3 days DSW.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with clients and staffing groups.
  • Confidence in providing leadership, support, and direction to the team.
  • Promoting cultural safety, considering and involving the team to improve service delivery and working environment.
  • Providing direct care and assistance to support our clients and establishing positive relationships with families and external services.
  • Previous experience in leadership and within the disability sector preferred.

As a Disability Support Worker Team Leader in one of our services you will work with a team on and off-site of specialists with one common purpose – to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

We act bravely

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
