About Your Role

Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for an ICT Service Manager to work within our Information and Communications Technology (ICT) division.

In the role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing a high level of tech support and customer service to SCOPE staff.
  • Ensuring that all requests and incidents are logged and responded to in a timely manner
  • Accurately document incidents and requests in ticketing system
  • Ensure that all hardware ie. desktops, laptops, and mobile devices provided is in accordance with our standard operating model.
  • Troubleshoot any network related issues
  • Maintain an up-to-date asset management system
  • Identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct
  • Be an active member of cross-functional teams that support business systems activities

The role will involve travel between SCOPE sites, so successful candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.

This position is part of a rotating shift (8am – 4pm), (9am – 5pm) and (10am – 6pm) Monday to Friday. Business hours of coverage are between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Your Key Focus

In this role you will participate in the day to day operations of the ICT Service Centre which includes responding to incidents and service requests, creating user accounts and providing advice to staff on possible causes and solutions associated with identified and documented issues.

To be successful in this role you will have knowledge of contemporary operating systems, office applications, hardware, software and their application within a business environment as well as demonstrated understanding of fundamental IT technologies. Commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential to this role, experience in ITIL framework would be an advantage

What We Look For

  • A minimum of 3 years working in similar environment 
  • Hold qualification in Business/ Information Technology orientated subject.
  • Previous experience working on a help desk system / managing and prioritising tickets accordingly.
  • Extensive and proven experience in the support of major ICT projects.
  • A solid understanding of networking and routers, desktop configuration 
  • Systems - Azure knowledge & understanding of how Aruba devices work 
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting a Windows MOE and both on-prem and cloud-based systems.
