As a Social Connections Coordinator you are someone who can think outside the box and adapt creatively to challenges, while thriving under pressure and meeting deadlines. You work well within a team, act as a positive role model to those around you, and demonstrate strong communication skills. At the same time, you are confident working independently, able to follow direction, and have the capability to manage rostering and meet KPI targets.

  • Permanennt full-time role located in Glen Waverely
  • Facilitate change and drive continuous service improvement
  • Responsible for the development of good working relationships with clients the people we support. 
  • Support the values and behaviours that are important to the successful operation of Scope's business, the purpose and vision. 
  • Be an advocate for the development of good working relationships with the people we support, families/carers and staff within Scope
  • Support the values and behaviours that are important to the successful operation of Scope's business; the Scope Approach.

As a Social Connections Coordinator in one of our services you will work with a team on and off-site of specialists with one common goal – to create meaningful opportunities for people with a disability to belong and thrive. 

We provide services to individuals with diverse abilities and a wide range of support needs, from low to high intensity. This includes facilitating social connections across various age groups and supporting participants in both community-based and centre-based group programs.

To recognise the contribution, you make to the lives of our customer, we offer a competitive remuneration package that includes options for:

We act bravely

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years.
