About Your Role
Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Document Accessibility Lead to work within the Accessible Information team at our Communication and Inclusion Resource Centre (CIRC).
Reporting to the Accessible Information Coordinator, you will design and produce accessible inclusive written documents , design Easy Read materials and provide subject matter expertise to our CIRC team.
Your Key Focus
Unpack complex subject matter and user experience problems to deliver accessible and inclusive documents
Perform automated and manual testing on finished documents
Work with customers to help improve their accessibility maturity and remove accessibility barriers
Support increased digital access and inclusion maturity within the wider Access Services Team
Execute in-house Adobe InDesign to Adobe Acrobat workflow tor content publishing
What We Look For
Proven knowledge of digital access
Strong experience in Adobe Design
Deep understanding of inclusive design and experience applying laws of UX
Strong stakeholder management and ability to work closely with customers ‘development team to ensure successful implementation of technical requirements to improve accessibility
Ability to work across a diver team and service lines with commitment to remove accessibility barriers
