About the role
As an Additional Assistant, you’ll:
Work as part of a kindergarten team under the guidance of the Lead Educator.
Support children in their learning, play, and daily activities, tailored to their individual needs.
Provide physical assistance (e.g., mealtimes, toileting, mobility support) with care and respect.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Help create an inclusive environment where every child is valued.
Attend team meetings and contribute to planning and communication.
This is a casual role, perfect for those who are looking to gain more experience in the education sector by growing their skills and making a meaningful impact.
About you
You are someone who genuinely cares about children and their inclusion. You bring patience, empathy, and enthusiasm to everything you do.
To succeed, you’ll ideally have:
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred but not essential).
Experience working with children in educational or care settings (highly desirable).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
A commitment to upholding children’s rights, safety, and wellbeing.
Requirements
Cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
Australian working rights.
Driver’s licence (if required for travel between sites).
