We seek passionate and caring individuals to join our inclusive kindergarten teams.

In this role, you’ll make a real difference by supporting children from the ages of 3 to 5 years of age, including those with a disability, so every child feels safe, included, and supported to grow.

About the role

As an Additional Assistant, you’ll:

  • Work as part of a kindergarten team under the guidance of the Lead Educator.
  • Support children in their learning, play, and daily activities, tailored to their individual needs.
  • Provide physical assistance (e.g., mealtimes, toileting, mobility support) with care and respect.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Help create an inclusive environment where every child is valued.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to planning and communication.

This is a casual role, perfect for those who are looking to gain more experience in the education sector by growing their skills and making a meaningful impact.

About you

You are someone who genuinely cares about children and their inclusion. You bring patience, empathy, and enthusiasm to everything you do.

To succeed, you’ll ideally have:

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience working with children in educational or care settings (highly desirable).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
  • A commitment to upholding children’s rights, safety, and wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
  • Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
  • Australian working rights.
  • Driver’s licence (if required for travel between sites).
