Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.

About The Role

This role is responsible for implementing communication access capacity building services to external corporate and community customers.

You will:

  • Provide communication access services' to customers whilst building on their strengths and developing sustainable long term solutions
  • Services will be provided collaboratively with stakeholders and support community participation by people with disability
  • Support organisations to develop and review plans to deliver works and projects on time and within budget
  • Provide informative and current information to stakeholders about access and in

About You

  • A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • An understanding and sensitivity to the rights and dignity of people with disabilities in line with current legislation
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience with adults and children in a range of models of service provision to people with complex communication needs is desirable
  • Knowledge in the theory and application of augmentative and alternative communication and multi-modal communication
  • A demonstrated ability to write concise reports, quote and agreements targeted for specific purposes

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must provide the following:

  • Current Driver’s License and your own vehicle
  • Registered with AHPRA or for Speech Pathologists, you are a practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
