Disability Support Worker – [Supported Independent Living]

Position Details 

  • Position: Disability Support Worker
  • Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
  • Location: Moorabbin, VIC
  • Total Hours per fortnight: 57 hours
  • Roster: Permanent fortnightly roster (see roster details below)

  

About You 

  • Experience supporting customers with Behaviours of Concern (BOC) is highly desirable.
  • Confidence supporting customers with mobility, personal care and daily living tasks.
  • A calm, resilient and proactive approach to supporting people with disability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Available to work all shifts listed on the roster.

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years.
