Disability Support Worker – Bendigo [Supported Independent Living]

Position Details
- Position: Disability Support Worker
- Employment Type: Fixed Term Part-Time (6 Months)
- Location: Bendigo, VIC
- Hours: Approximately 40 to 60 hours per fortnight
About the Role
- Support a diverse range of customers living with physical disabilities.
- Provide person-centred support that empowers customers to make choices and maintain independence in their daily lives.
- Assist customers with daily living activities both at home and in the community, including personal care, meal preparation and assistance, medication support, and behaviour support.
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts.
You must have or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR
- Full VIC Driver’s licence
- International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
