Coordinator – Supported Independent Living (SIL)

About the Role:

  • Location: Balwyn
  • Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent

As a Coordinator you will report to the Accommodation Services Manager and provide strong leadership within the SIL home, driving effective change, managing staff and budgets, applying sound NDIS knowledge and processes, and working closely with clients to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred outcomes.

About You

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in disability services or similar frontline, community‑based settings, with the ability to guide teams and uphold high‑quality participant outcomes.
  • Calm, organised and solutions‑focused decision‑making, especially when navigating fast‑paced or high‑pressure situations.
  • A proactive and accountable approach to problem‑solving, with the initiative to identify issues early and implement practical, participant‑centred solutions.
  • Strong capability in supporting participants who self‑advocate, ensuring they maintain choice, control and meaningful involvement in their supports.
  • Confident relationship management skills, including setting clear professional boundaries and navigating conflict constructively with participants, families and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster an engaged, collaborative and high‑performing team culture through transparency, support and positive leadership.
