Coordinator – Supported Independent Living (SIL)

About the Role
Location: Balwyn
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reporting to the Accommodation Services Manager, you’ll provide strong, hands-on leadership within a SIL setting. You’ll guide and develop staff, oversee day‑to‑day operations and budgets, apply your NDIS expertise, and work closely with participants to ensure supports are person-centred and outcomes-focused.
This is a key leadership role where your experience will directly influence team culture, service quality, and continuous improvement.
About You
You will bring:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in disability services or similar frontline, community-based settings
- Calm, organised and able to make sound decisions in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
- Proactive and accountable, with the ability to identify issues early and implement practical solutions
- Experience supporting participants who self-advocate, ensuring choice and control in their supports
- Strong relationship skills, including setting boundaries and managing conflict with participants, families and stakeholders
- Clear communication skills with the ability to build an engaged, collaborative and high-performing team

- Valid Driver Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Australian working rights
- International Police Check (if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one year in the last ten years)
