About Your Role

Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Communications and Engagement Lead to work within our Strategy Accelerator.

Your Key Focus

As the Communications and Engagement Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-impact communication and engagement strategies that bring the Strategy Accelerator’s vision to life. You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build awareness, foster partnerships, and amplify the Accelerator’s initiatives.

This is a hands-on role in a nimble, energetic team of five, based in our Carlton innovation office, with occasional travel to Scope’s Head Office in Hawthorn and partner sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies for the Strategy Accelerator and its initiatives.
  • Create engaging content including presentations, newsletters, FAQs, reports, and digital assets.
  • Manage internal and external communication channels including intranet and landing pages.
  • Create and lead engagement activities that promote innovation and future thinking.
  • Support event planning and contribute to building a culture of innovation.
  • Drive continuous improvement and creative approaches to stakeholder engagement.

About You

You’re a creative and strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You bring strong collaboration skills, emotional intelligence, and a passion for making a difference.

What We Look For

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in social impact or purpose-driven organisations (desirable).
  • Advanced skills in Canva, Adobe Suite, video production/editing, and podcasting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
