We have a brand-new fixed-term, part time opportunity at our West Division.

The role will be to provide high quality, professional and individualised support, in a responsive manner to Home@Scope customers during shifts when staff need extra help .

This role is perfect for you if you are seeking a set amount of guaranteed hours while having the flexibility to work across different sites within your region in a ‘call-to-duty’ / responsive approach.

The hours for this role will vary depending on need and availability but will sit within the hours of 10pm to 7:30am, Monday to Friday.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • 2:1 overnight manual handling; transfers, repositioning, and personal hygiene support
  • 2:1 medication administration and mealtime assist
  • Responsive Hospital admission support
  • Behaviour Support
  • Certificate III in Disability ( or equivalent) is required

The benefits of this role will include accrued leave entitlements and will appeal to someone who seeks the flexibility and variety this responsive & relief work brings.  For the right person it may be an opportunity to upskill in manual handling and medical administration as you’ll be exposed to numerous houses located across Ascot Vale, Essendon, Airport West, Altona North and Maidstone.

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
