And we’re looking for an energetic and curious People Advisor to join our People Team on an 8-month parental leave contract, where you’ll gain hands-on HR experience and contribute to work that truly matters.

About the role

If you’re someone who loves variety, learning, and being part of a supportive team, this role will give you the perfect platform to grow.

As a People Advisor, you’ll support our People Partners and leaders across a range of HR activities from providing day-to-day advice and coordinating processes, to helping deliver people projects and process improvements.

You’ll be exposed to the full breadth of HR employee relations, systems, data, process improvement, and everything in between. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build your HR toolkit while working in a values-driven organisation making an impact every day.

What you’ll be doing

  • Be the first point of contact for HR queries from leaders and employees.
  • Support the People Partners on people-related matters such as performance, conduct, and policy advice.
  • Help streamline our processes and implement new HR systems and tools.
  • Manage inbox enquiries and ensure smooth coordination across the People Team.
  • Get involved in people projects, policy rollouts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with teams across Scope to create a positive and efficient employee experience.

About you

  • You’re a motivated and proactive people-person who’s excited to get your teeth into all things HR.
  • You’re organised, curious, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • You’ll bring:
  • A relevant qualification (or near completion) in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in HR
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and a desire to continuously improve

If you’ve had some exposure to HR or admin work during your studies or an internship, even better but most importantly, you’re eager to learn and make an impact.

You’ll also need (or be willing to obtain):

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current Driver’s Licence
