Scope’s purpose is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. We support people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities to achieve their goals. Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.

About the role:
• Provide Allied Health Assistance to clients on a needs bases whilst building on their strengths and developing suitable long-term solutions
• Deliver goal directed therapy services to people with disability. Services will be provided collaboratively with significant others to support a person’s wellbeing, function and community participation in a range of environments.
• Support a small team of Allied Health Professionals by delivering therapy under delegation and supervisor, supporting the delivery of training, and supporting other non-clinical activities.

About you:
• You truly believe in our mission to enable each person we support to live as an equal and empowered citizen
• You are an experienced Allied Health Assistant and have relevant experience in disability services
• You are committed to human-centred approaches, strength-based practices, and supporting inclusion and participation
• You have excellent communication skills and are a team player

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must provide the following:
• Current Driver’s License and your own vehicle
• You are eligible for practicing membership with AHANA
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children’s Check (Employee)
• Valid Australian working Rights and an international Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than (1) year within the last 10 years.
