The Role

As the Executive Assistant to the Chief Quality, Safeguarding and Practice Officer (CQSPO), you’ll be at the heart of Scope’s executive operations, providing top-tier support to ensure a seamless and effective flow of leadership activities. This role isn’t just about managing schedules – it’s about being a proactive, trusted partner who anticipates needs, streamlines processes, and contributes to the culture of Scope’s executive team. You’ll work within a vibrant Community of Practice of Executive Assistants, sharing best practices and driving improvements that enhance executive support across the organisation.

In return, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Calendar Management: Prioritise and coordinate a complex schedule, meetings, and events for the CQSPO and the Senior Leadership Team.
  • High-Level Communication: Draft and coordinate internal communications that reflect the voice and strategic goals of Scope’s leadership.
  • Collaboration & Community Building: Work within the EA Community of Practice, promoting efficiency and consistency in executive support, understanding that your team can reach beyond hard-line reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain respectful, productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including the NDIS commission and other regulatory bodies. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency within Scope’s processes, contributing to a dynamic, forward-thinking workplace.

 

Who are you?

  • Experienced: You bring demonstrated experience in supporting C-suite executives, with proven skills in diary management, communication, and event coordination.
  • Organised & Agile: You thrive in fast-paced settings, adeptly managing competing priorities and adjusting to new demands with agility and grace.
  • Professional & Discreet: You’re a model of professionalism, handling sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and judgment.
  • Collaborative: You’re a team player who can also take initiative independently. You value diversity and inclusivity and know how to communicate effectively across a wide range of people and backgrounds.
  • Innovative & Forward-Thinking: You have a knack for spotting trends, embracing new technologies, and adapting to continuously improve executive support functions.
