Scope operate seven Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes across Bonnell’s Bay, Morisset, and Williamtown.
We currently have four permanent part‑time positions available at our Morisset site for confident, dependable Support Workers who thrive in complex environments.
This is a male‑dominated, robust support setting, working with clients who have complex mental health needs, psychosocial and intellectual disabilities, and in some cases, a history with the criminal justice system. The clients we support may display complex behaviours, requiring consistent, trauma‑informed, person‑centred approaches.

Your role:
- Promote choice and control and show eagerness to participate in our clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- Follow behaviour support, restrictive practices and client care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encourage capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Provide person centered active support to build independence.
- Support clients who require personal care or emotional support around hygiene with dignity and respect.
- To be competent in your computer/ IT skills and report writing!
Some of our requirements:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster.
