Bowral is one of our high physical Supported Independent Living (SIL) services, home to four clients.
We are currently seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to permanently join our team in delivering tailored support to two male and two female clients who present with physical disabilities. The role includes supports requiring workers to use hoists and equipment, as well as working with clients who display behaviours that challenge and have associated mental health needs. We welcome applicants who are confident and comfortable working closely with clients in a personalised support setting.

This role is suited to people who:
- Proudly promote choice and control and show eagerness to participate in our clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- Are comfortable adhering too BIS/Care plans, and restrictive practices as directed by clinical teams and Site Managers.
- Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering consistent, safe, person-centred support in complex or physically demanding environments.
- Thrive in encouraging capacity building, helping clients develop skills such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport, and community participation.
- Are highly competent in computer/ IT skills and report writing!

- Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- NSW driver’s licence
- Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable)
