  • Permanent Part four days a week role located in East Malvern
  • A commitment to family and person centred approaches, and to supporting inclusion and participation
  • The ability to support customers to set and achieve their goals and work with the Coordinator and team to further develop new and established activities and programs
  • Your shifts will including early morning, all day, afternoon, evening, sleepover and weekends
  • You’ll work with a range of customers
  • A Drivers licence is required for this role

Do it together

As a Disability Support Worker Team Leader in one of our services you will work with a team on and off-site of specialists with one common goal – to enable our customers to live as equal and empowered citizens.

  • Support the Coordinator to develop and implement service aims and program delivery through peer support/modelling of best practice behaviours to Disability Support Staff and administration activities
  • Provide staff with a clear vision, strategies and direction at the site whilst working in a way that is central to the values and culture of Scope
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills

To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights 
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with Government Health advice.
