About Your Role
Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Communications Advisor to work within our Strategy and Impact division.
In your role, you will be:
Partnering with key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical communications advice to meet business objectives.
Developing, implement and evaluate a range of communication and engagement strategies, plans and activities for internal and external communications and change management projects, that align to Scope’s strategy.
Coordinating the implementation and evaluation of communication strategies and plans.
Creating compelling and engaging content for a variety of channels including publications, digital platforms, forums, etc.
Translating complex information into clear and simple concepts that meet audience and stakeholder information needs.
Supporting the design and implementation of improved processes and strategy to enhance organisational communications.
Working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and support broader organisational and Communications & Engagement team objectives.
Enabling or support delivery of events, as required.
Ensuring messages are consistent and reflect the Scope brand and tone of voice.
Your Key Focus
In your role as Communications Advisor, you will contributing to and embracing innovative approaches, ideas, processes and new ways of working that advance the impact, effectiveness and productivity of the Communications and Engagement function and the wider Strategy and Impact Division.
You will provide input, advice and support to the Head of Communications and Engagement on the development of overarching communications function strategies, frameworks, work plans, tools and processes.
What We Look For
A minimum of 5 years practical experience within a Communications position.
Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism or similar.
Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies and plans within a complex organisation.
Well-developed written, visual and verbal communications skills with attention to detail.
Ability to build trust, foster relationships, and influence others effectively in support of meeting business objectives.
Experience in Disability, Community or Not-For-Profit sector highly regarded.
