Advanced Disability Support Worker (DDSO2A)

We are seeking a vibrant and dedicated individual with an Advanced Diploma in Disability or Community Sector Management who has a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

This is a permanent full time position based in Warrnambool working a 75.5 hour and 76.5 hour split fortnight.

About the role:

• Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support that promotes dignity and independence
• Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures consistently
• Support participants with daily living, personal care, health routines, and community access
• Use calm communication and effective de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern
• Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team
• Bring patience, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach to every shift

What you'll need:

• You will be required to hold an Advanced Diploma in Disability/Community Sector Management or equivalent to meet the criteria for this role.
• Availability to work all below listed shifts.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
• Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).

Week 1:

Tuesday: 6am – 9:30am split shift 1pm – 9pm 

Wednesday: 7am – 6:30pm

Thursday: 6:30am – 10am

Saturday: 7:30am – 8:30pm

Week 2:

Sunday: 7:30am – 8:30pm

Monday: 7am – 10:30am split shift 3pm – 9pm

Wednesday: 6am – 11am split shift 2pm – 7pm

Thursday: 11:30am - 8:30pm

Friday: 7am – 10:30am split shift 3pm – 9pm

Week 3:

Monday: 6am – 10:30am split shift 3pm – 9pm

Tuesday: 12pm - 6:30pm

Thursday: 3pm - 6:30pm

Friday: 2pm – 6:30pm

Saturday: 6:30am - 6:30pm

Week 4:

Sunday: 6:30am - 6:30pm

Monday: 6am – 9:30am split shift 1pm – 9pm 

Wednesday: 6:00am - 6:30pm

Friday: 6am – 9:30am split shift 2pm – 9pm
